Just a reminder....

this weekend is

THE CLASS OF 1971 REUNION

we do hope to see many of our classmates, from near and far...

all you other HSHS guys we went to school with that are in the area? you are so very welcomed to join us on

FRIDAY evening at NOOKIES around 7pm

SATURDAY at the park (do I really need to say which one?)

OK, here's a hint. It's the closest one to the high school

and right there in the middle of it is the CRC

and behind it there used to be a wading pool...

but we weren't suppose to get in it when we were kids

because you'd get RINGWORM.

(seriously, that was the story to keep us dry and safe from drowning in 6 inches of water and it worked so well, they filled the wading pool full of dirt later)

but back to our program...

Saturday - noon to 4 or whenever ....

no host, no food picnic (but you can bring your lunch!)

later Saturday 7pm

Fuddruckers for no host dinner.

there will be much hugging, laughter, maybe even a few tears (only happy ones allowed!) and of course some silliness and PriZeS!

what kind of prizes you ask?

darn good question!

Be there and find out what the prizes might be and the answers to....

'which couple has been married the longest?'

'who has traveled the farthest to attend this amazing event?'

'who has the most children?'

See, now you really need to be in attendance to find out these and many other burning questions!

HSHS Class of 1971 10th Reunion Photo

OK, let's step into the WaY BACK time machine to the year 1981

Reunion Schedule
Sept 23: Friday, Casual get-together at Nookies 125 N 1st ST Hermiston 7pm
Sept 24: Saturday, No-Host Picnic McKenzie Park noon-4pm
(no glass bottles, alcohol, pets on leash)
Sept 24:Saturday, No-Host dinner at Fuddruckers 1619 N 1st ST 7pm

Please notice these are ALL NO-HOST because of the late late late start.
Donations will be very appreciated, because all the mailings, printing, etc. are out of pocket for a few people. The list of missing people will be up on Facebook at the Hermiston Class of 1971 Reunion page.
It will be here shortly, too.
If you can help with an e-mail, home address or phone, please leave a note here or on the facebook page or call either of the numbers that were listed on the postcard I hope most of you received this week.

Even if you can't make the reunion, an updated address/email would be wonderful to have for future events.

Please feel free to invite classmates from other classes and bring along all your sisters, brothers, cousins and second cousins we all went to school with.

Reunion Update ~

Here's some 40th reunion information:

Sept. 23, no-host gathering @ Nookies, 125 N. 1st St. @ 6 p.m..

Sept. 24th Saturday, 12 - 4, no-host picnic @ McKenzie Park in Hermiston (next to the fairgrounds).

Saturday night @ 7p.m., no-host gathering @ Fuddruckers, 1619 N. First St. in Hermiston.

Invitations are being sent out very soon.
